21 weeks

At 10.5 inches and about 12.2 ounces, she's big enough now that you've probably been feeling her movements.
  • As her digestive system preps for the outside world, she's manufacturing meconium -- the tarry black substance you'll find in her first dirty diaper (ew)!
  • If it's a girl, she's already got a lifetime's supply of eggs in her womb -- about six million of them!

Saw the specialist last Thursday for a growth/fluid check and to check my cervix length. Thankfully it was still 5cm (they want it >3.5cm). Babies looked great but were both extremely uncooperative for pictures, lol. She also confirmed the sexes that the other tech had told us at our 18 week sono. Baby A's hb was 149 bpm and Baby B's hb was 147 bpm.
Here are a few pictures from that day:

How far along? 21 weeks
Total weight gain/loss: +2 lbs

Maternity clothes? All maternity. Even my comfy pre-pregnancy jeans are uncomfortable on the babies.
Stretch marks? Nope
Sleep: It is getting harder to find a comfortable sleeping position.
Movement: Yes, though Baby B is much more mellow than Baby A. I have been feeling them both a ton though.
Food cravings:
Gender: We know but are waiting until my sprinkle to reveal.
Labor Signs: Nope
What I miss: Being able to eat without getting horrific heartburn every time.
What I am looking forward to: Decorating the nursery. Clean out of the spare room (nursery) started yesterday!
Milestones: Halfway through the 2nd trimester! First major goal according to the Dr. is 28 weeks. Now we just need to figure out names for sure. Baby A actually has a definite name, Baby B's is still undecided.
