Well today was Ella's two month checkup at her new doctor's office--Amherst Pediatrics. She was 11 lbs, 5 oz and 23 3/4 inches long (8 lbs, 5 oz and 22 inches at birth). The nurse practitioner said that she is growing perfectly! Ella was all smiles and cooing at the nurse pretty much the entire time-- until they gave her the shots! Poor girl, her little bottom lip came out and she just screamed. Fortunately it only lasted about a minute and then she was fine. She then took a nice three hour nap.
The only thing that concerned me a little was that she had a little bit of a fever (99.7) so I gave her someTylenol and she is napping again. Hopefully when she wakes up she will feel a bit better!
Now we are just getting ready for our long weekend in the 1000 islands! Happy Labor Day everyone!
