We had a great long weekend in the 1000 islands-- great weather and lots of fun! Miss Ella, however, did not have too much fun. She was VERY cranky and had a fever Thursday after her shots, and we all slept over at my mom's so that Josh could refinish our hardwood floors. She was great in the car on Friday on the way to the islands, but Friday night and Saturday she was pretty miserable with a little bit of a fever. Thankfully she was feeling better for Sunday and Monday and she had much better days. Sufficed to say, we are NOT looking forward to her four month shots. We may delay and/or space some of them out since she did not have a good reaction to this set.
So today we are just getting unpacked and trying to clean up the endless dust from sanding the hardwood floors. It is hard to believe it is September already!
