Happy 1st Easter Ella Bean!

We had a very nice first Easter with Ella yesterday. She woke up at about 6:30 and we took her out to open her Easter basket, which Otis and Remington were VERY interested in. She got some freeze dried bananas & strawberries, some veggie crackers, a pink rubber ducky, a fun puppy toy and her outside swing.











After some breakfast and a nap, we headed off to church at 10:30. Ella had a great time as usual, clapping to the music and flirting with all the people sitting around us. She also thought it'd be nice to pull the hair of the girl in front of her and throw her new rubber duck at another girl. She's quite the busy girl these days! We then headed to Grandma Lisa's at noon and Ella was beyond tired so we layed her down and she slept for almost 2 1/2 hours. I actually was able to eat a meal with two hands and no yelling baby! Once she got up she had some lunch and then opened her Easter basket. She got a swimsuit, some adorable Puma sneakers, some summer jammies, a few board books, some bubbles, and a birthday girl shirt and bib. Grandma Lisa's beagles were pretty jealous that the basket was not for them.






Once she was done, we packed our stuff up and headed over to Mimi's house and Miss Ella got yet another Easter basket! She got lots of tasty snacks, a snack pod and an adorable bunny. She had a great time playing with Mimi and Popi and even got to visit with Aunt Sherry and Ray when they stopped by. My camera was dead by this time, so I did not get any pictures at Mimi's house unfortunately. By the time we got home Ella was exhausted and she had some of Mimi's rice pudding for dinner and then was off to the tub and bed!
