Teething is now going on in full force! We have a race between the two top canine teeth and the two bottom front teeth. Looks like so far the right side is winning on both top and bottom, but only time will tell! Poor Ella is most definitely not enjoying it, and it has definitely been disrupting her normal sleep-through-the-night schedule. We just try and keep her as happy as possible and hope it will be done soon!
Speaking of sleep disruption, my friend and I were just talking today about two very personal stories we had read about women who have lost and/or are in the process of losing their babies, along with another story we had recently heard. It brings so much clarity to life and reminds you that you would rather never sleep again than ever not have your beautiful baby in your arms! Missing a few hours sleep seems so miniscule compared to the struggles these women have endured. So I have decided that even teething is a blessing! It means that we have a healthy baby who is growing.
I am going to take some pictures of Ella in her Halloween outfit and costume soon--so everyone be on the lookout for my little pink pig!
